Disneyland Resort Of Paris, France

The Disneyland Resort in Paris is a theme park run by Euro Disney SCA, 39% of which is owned by The Walt Disney Company, in Marne-la-Vallée near Paris.
The construction of Disneyland began in 1988 and the theme park complex officially opened on April 12, 1992, but the turnout is low and there were protests by those who thought a Disney park in France would damage the French culture.
The month of October 1994, former Euro Disney changed its name to Disneyland Paris, and now to Disneyland Resort Paris. By 1995, Disneyland Paris started to attract more visitors and what began as a near failure for the Walt Disney Company has become more triumphant. The Disneyland Resort Paris is in between the original Disneyland and the much bigger Walt Disney in size.
The Disneyland comes with five major sections namely:
  • Walt Disney Studios Park
  • Disney World’s Disney/MGM Studios
  • Disney Village
  • Disney Hotels Area
  • And Gold Disneyland with 27-hole golf course.
The theme park is very easy to reach by car. When coming near Paris, large number of billboards with the image of Mickey Mouse on them will point your way to Disneyland Park.   3. Day Hopper Classic Passport – valid for any three days in the three years following its issue date, offering unlimited access to the two theme parks.
Tickets for special events, such as “Halloween Parties and Christmas” in Disneyland Park are also available to purchase on-line.

The Missouri Botanical Gardens is located in St. Louis, Missouri and it comprises of a number of different, smaller gardens.
